- Part of Mid Coast-Parkview Health, CHANS has been providing home health and wellness services in our community since 1947.
When a patient is sick, recovering from surgery or an acute or chronic illness, or approaching the end of life, there is no place like home. At CHANS, our work is to provide the needed medical services in the home, where patients are their most comfortable. It takes a special person to provide this level of care, and we are looking to add that special person with this skillset to our team!
CHANS values ongoing clinical development and education through in-services, journal club meetings, and a continuing medical education account.
Position Summary
The Home Care OT supports CHANS mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, patient and family centered care, commitment to our community, and accountability. In accordance with national standards of practice and within the guidelines and policies and procedures of both CHANS and the Maine State Board of Licensure, the Home Care OT provides highly reliable, evidenced based, patient-family centered quality care through assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the effects of care provided.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) - Education:Entry-Level Degree in Occupational Therapy
- License/Certifications:Maine State Licensure
