The Special Education District of Lake County has a position available for an Occupational Therapist for the 2024-2025 school year. Occupational Therapists work in the public school system and are responsible for assessing, screening and evaluating special education students with disabilities aged 0-21.Other responsibilities include: identify long term goals and objectives for the students; develop and monitor therapeutic interventions; update and assist with writing IEP goals and objectives as part of the educational team.
Type of Employment: Full Time School Year
Requirement: Must have a current and valid Illinois license issued by the Illinois Department of Registration and Education.
Salary: $51,375 - $84,455 based on education and experience.
