Job Summary:
As a Certified Hand Therapist OT at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, planning, and administering occupational therapy treatments under the direction of licensed physicians. Your responsibilities will include delivering age-specific care to patients across all ages, coordinating and supervising supportive staff, and ensuring efficient resource utilization for operational stability within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:

• Administer occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide age-specific direct care services to patients of all ages.
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise responsibilities assigned to supportive staff.
• Communicate effectively and contribute to problem resolution.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and program growth.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and fire safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid Occupational Therapy Florida State License.
• 1-2 years of Hand Therapist experience preferred.
• BLS Certification.
