Job Description
The applicant must be licensed to practice in the state of California and must have experience in pediatrics.
Responsibilities include:
- To demonstrate the ability to comprehend and follow treatment plans provided by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- To demonstrate innovative treatment skills and approaches as well as the ability to upgrade and downgrade activities accordingly
- To demonstrate knowledge of normal childhood development as it relates to fine motor coordination, visual processing, gross motor coordination, self-help skills, sensory processing, handwriting, play, and social-emotional skills
- To monitor the client’s progress and report to supervising OT
- Utilize effective and professional communication skills
- To complete all required documentation clearly and concisely within a timely manner
Qualifications and Experience:
- Pediatric experience is preferred
- Demonstrate adequate computer skills
- Must be licensed in California
