Job Description:
Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA at a full-time capacity, providing vital therapeutic support to students in a school-based setting. As a COTA with Soliant, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of children and collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and progress.
- Develop and implement therapeutic activities and interventions to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Attend meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs.
- Caseload:
- Full-time (37.5/hrs.)
Qualifications:
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of California.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Experience working in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for working with children and promoting their development.
