UnityPoint Health – Fort Dodge provides coordinated clinic, hospital, and home-based care for patients in Fort Dodge and surrounding communities. As a designated regional referral center Trinity Regional Medical Center offers a wide range of primary and secondary care services. Trinity is accredited by DNV Healthcare Inc. and has achieved Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
- Established Occupational Medicine practice serving Fort Dodge and the surrounding communities
- Full-time benefit eligible opportunity
- Experienced staff who know the clients extremely well
- Average of 15 patients per day; no weekends, no call
- Department hours: Mon-Thurs 8a-5p and Fri 8a-4:30p
- Occasional need for early morning or evening coverage at company location
- Perform pre-employment exams, DOT physicals, care for work related injuries, etc.
- Onsite services: radiology, hearing tests, fit testing, etc.
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
- Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Practitioner
- Board Certified
- Occupational Medicine experience preferred but not required
- Must become DOT certified within 3 months of employment
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States
