Title:Nuuly Junior Retoucher

Reports To : Retouching Manager

Overview
The Junior. Retoucher is responsible for retouching on-figure and still life imagery for Nuuly’s direct website. They will be reporting to the Retouching Manager. The primary objective of this role is to work collaboratively with the Creative team to help deliver image assets on time across all platforms.

Responsibilities
Responsible for retouching images to a consistent standard for multi-channel distribution in a high-volume production environment
Meet daily image goals and display flexibility when deadlines change
Receives direction from Retouching Manager, Photo Director, ADs, Digi Techs, and design team members as needed per item or project requests
Retouch high volume count of e-commerce imagery with the occasional opportunity to retouch creative imagery
Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills
Maintain brand aesthetic and image quality while adhering to style and specification guidelines
Clearly communicate progress updates and file delivery deadlines
Receive work assignments and approvals from supervisor
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving images asset requests

Qualifications
Must have 2+ years of professional retouching experience
Proven ability to work efficiently and produce a high volume of quality retouched images
Excellent eye for detail and solid grasp of color theory
Proactive, motivated, and able to take initiative
Must have strong communication skills and work well within and across multiple teams
Works with a sense of urgency to adhere to deadlines in fast-paced environment
Demonstrate knowledge of Nuuly/URBN brands

Job Skills
Proficiency in Photoshop and Adobe Creative Software
Proficiency using Wacom tablet and Mac Platforms
Strong knowledge of e-commerce retouching: skin corrections, styling adjustments, masking, silhouetting, and color corrections
Understanding of e-commerce photo studio and image workflows

Education
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, Graphic Design, or related field
In-field experience is accepted
