RN Services Private Duty Care is a locally owned Home Health Care company in the St. Louis area for over 20 years. We service high-end clients in St Louis and surrounding areas. We are seeking caring, dependable, team-oriented NURSING STUDENTS. If you are living in St Louis and enrolled in class on campus/virtually, we are able to coordinate your class and work schedules. You will gain hands on experience working one-on-one with our clients, developing practical skillsets in real life environments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Licensed driver with a clean driving record
- Vehicle that is currently insured.
- Cellphone with Internet and texting capabilities
- Daily access to RN Services’ email
- Knowledge of the English language
- Has corrected vision and hearing with normal range
- Covid-19 vaccination preferred
Responsibilities:
- Providing companionship, conversation and the ability to connect with senior community
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
- Provides care as provided by the client, client's family and RN case manager.
- Assistance with activities of daily living - monitoring alzheimer’s & dementia clients; vital signs; patient transfers, fall risks, bathing, home tasks, documentation, med management, pain management. Transportation and errands as needed for client.
- Agrees to a variable work schedule. Responsible for working assigned shifts
- CPR certification (within 90 days of hire)
- Complies with RN Services’ policies and procedures including standards of conduct and work ethics, HIPAA policy, dress code and weekend and holiday availability policies
