• Staffing Assistant – Nursing Administration - Day/Evening

  The Staffing Assistant for Nursing Administration is responsible for ensuring adequate staff on the units, staffing various shifts, making changes and adjustments to Kronos based upon sick calls and overtime, and updating schedules based on changes in daily staffing. Additionally, they will answer & screen telephone calls, and help keep the entire team informed of critical and ongoing matters. In this role, you will support the nursing leadership team in effectively and efficiently managing the success of the department.   This is a part-time - position - every other Saturday & Sunday 7:30am-8:00pm alternating with 2 weekday shifts- 2:00pm-10:00pm, and rotating holidays, located at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

  Preferred Criteria

  • Administrative experience in a hospital setting

  
  Required Criteria

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1+ years of secretarial experience

  • Computer proficiently with knowledge of windows based computer application

$23.00-$27.00/Hourly
