We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistants to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals in need of medical assistance.
```Responsibilities```
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers
- Collect specimens for laboratory testing
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of medical equipment
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
```Requirements```
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or related healthcare position preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, such as eClinicalWorks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to perform gastric lavage if required
- Experience in acute care settings is a plus
