JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide professional nursing care practicing and nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current licensure, or other state licensure as required. One year specialized Care experience or three years of telemetry nursing experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Uses clinical judgment to manage delivery of patient care safely and effectively.
- Promote interpersonal relations with all contacts in the hospital setting.
- Uses knowledge and practice in accordance with Nurse Practice Act; Standards of Nursing Practice; Standards of Patient Care; Joint Commission, state and local laws; and hospital policies.
- Other duties or Specific Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned for environment and area of coverage.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License or equivalent from other states
- One year specialized care, skilled nursing, Emergency Room (ER), MedSurg, Critical Care or Unit/Floor Manager duties
