Nursery Sales Associate- Outside (Seasonal)

Fort Collins Nursery, the premier Northern Colorado nursery dedicated to growing top-quality plants and staff, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individuals to join our team of seasonal Outside Sales Associates. We are currently hiring for full-time and part-time positions; our season typically runs from date of hire through mid-July.

Starting rate of pay: $15-16/hr. depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by working to understand the needs and preferences of customers, and provide them with information about relevant Nursery products and services.
• Assist in unloading, processing, and stocking product.
• Conduct daily plant care and maintenance to ensure healthy and inviting products.
• Stay informed about current and seasonal gardening trends, new products, and share this knowledge with customers to enhance their shopping experience.
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to create a positive and supportive work environment. Contribute a cohesive team that strives for excellence in customer service.

Qualifications:

• Passion for gardening and plant care helpful.
• Previous retail experience a plus, but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly (with assistance).
• Position will spend majority of shift on feet in a variety of weather conditions while communicating with customers.
