Job Description:

As a Nurse Practitioner Training Consultant with a specialization in Adolescents at 247DCT, you will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering high-quality training programs tailored to the unique needs of Nurse Practitioners working with adolescent populations. You will collaborate with a team of experts to create engaging and informative training modules that address the latest trends, guidelines, and best practices in adolescent healthcare.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop comprehensive training curricula and materials specifically designed for Nurse Practitioners working with adolescents, covering a wide range of topics including but not limited to:

- Adolescent development and psychology

- Common health issues and challenges faced by adolescents

- Adolescent mental health assessment and intervention

- Reproductive health education and services for adolescents

- Substance abuse prevention and intervention strategies

2. Conduct thorough research to stay abreast of the latest developments, guidelines, and evidence-based practices in adolescent healthcare.

3. Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists to create engaging and interactive training content, including presentations, case studies, simulations, and assessments.

4. Facilitate live virtual training sessions and webinars for Nurse Practitioners, providing expert guidance, insights, and practical tips to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.

5. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make continuous improvements based on evaluation results.

6. Provide ongoing support and mentorship to Nurse Practitioners enrolled in training programs, offering guidance and clarification on complex topics and challenging cases.

7. Serve as a resource person for Nurse Practitioners, responding to inquiries, providing consultation, and offering expert advice on adolescent healthcare issues.

8. Collaborate with internal teams to promote training programs, recruit participants, and ensure the successful implementation of training initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution; Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) preferred.

- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Adolescent Health or related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with a focus on providing healthcare services to adolescents.

- Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, workshops, or educational sessions for healthcare professionals.

- Strong knowledge of adolescent development, common health issues, mental health concerns, and reproductive health needs.

- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a remote/virtual environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
