Viva Eve is looking for an Nurse Practitioner who can work under indirect supervision and interdependently with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, and is able to provide a broad range of Nurse Practitioner services with an emphasis on women's health. We appreciate an outstanding bedside manner and a desire to help the practice grow by providing the best patient care and most personalized patient experience. This is a different kind of practice, where the explicit focus is on high quality care over volume.

Viva Eve offers everything under one roof, from ObGyn care to fibroid treatments—so patients aren't bouncing from place to place. With a team of multi-disciplinary specialists, led by a women's health doctor who knows them, patients receive more in-depth, personalized care. Typical appointments include time for patient questions, and also encompass ultrasounds and lab tests, so patients get a really good picture of their overall health. And we offer the most advanced medical knowledge and technology for early detection.

Salary, Bonus and Benefits

• Base salary: $130k per year.
  Annual Bonus (Guaranteed) $20k-$40k per year

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide services to patients including but not limited to ambulatory care, taking health histories, performing assessments, and conducting health education and counseling.
• Assess and manage patients with routine, minor, and acute illnesses; perform assessment/data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner, focus on physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status.
• Develop plans of care based on patient assessment ensuring appropriate follow-up in accordance with established Nurse Practitioner protocols.
• Triage and refer patients for further care based on severity of illness and symptoms.
• Efficiently and effectively review labs, radiology reports and consults and communicate results and form management plans
• Adhere to written guidelines/protocol for clinical decision making and management.
• Help in educating patients 1:1 or small group workshops / videos on common health conditions and concerns.
• Prepare timely, legible, and complete documentation of all patient care as provided by law, regulation, and established policy
• Apply safety principles as identified by established policy.
• Ensure compliance with legal issues including but not limited to patient confidentiality and risk management; ensure compliance with AAAASF, JCAHO, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform other related duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN and Nurse Practitioner license and CPR certification.
• Two to four years related experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Willing to work at all of our current sites Forest Hills, Astoria and Manhattan and be open to working in Brooklyn in the future
• Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
• Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals.
• Strong charting/documentation skills.

• Ability to manage priorities and workflow

• Willingness to educate patients about their women's health options including participating in events, patient videos and workshops.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
