Nurse Practitioner
Navajo Reservation, Arizona
An northeast community hospital / clinic needs additional, experienced nurses to care for patients in the Family Practice Department during this unique time.
- 3 month contract
- Full-time.
- Most weeks should be (5) 8's but shifts could vary
Essential Functions
- Conduct assessments of new admissions to document and promote continuity of care within regulatory guidelines.
- Perform health screenings for children residing with clients in the residential treatment facility.
- Conduct and document medical assessments including vital signs, TB testing, urine specimen collection, etc.
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the State of Arizona
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray certification
- At least one year of prior professional nursing experience, with preference given to experience in a substance abuse treatment facility
- Current Fingerprint Clearance card
- First Aid and CPR certification
