Nurse - Milwuakee, Wi

Every day, you'll be inspired by the donors you meet. We prioritize customer service and quality. You will report to the Center Manager and perform as a Nurse to support center operations.
Role Overview:

• Assess donor eligibility, including informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self-exclusion, medical history interviews, acceptance criteria, physical exams, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
• Manage donor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results.
• Follow SOPs for medical emergencies, implement Center Physician's standing orders, and arrange donor transport to emergency facilities.
• Consult Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on unacceptable findings, medical or technical issues, donor safety, and eligibility.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents, determine if further evaluation by occupational health/ER is needed, and follow EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.
• Serve as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and assist in investigations related to pandemic threats within the local community as directed by EHS or Medical Affairs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, including completion of a recognized nursing program meeting state requirements
• Current licensure or certification in the assigned state: LPN or LVN
• Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Completion of state requirements for basic IV therapy (if applicable)
• Successful completion of FDA-approved training for Medical Support Specialist
• At least two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting

Compensation:

• Location: USA - WI - Greenfield
• U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $25.00 - $34.38

Pay Details: $24.00 to $34.00 per hour
