Job Summary and Qualifications

What will you do in this role:

Supervise our Acute Surgical unit, Medical Oncology unit, Float Pool and Infusion Center regarding clinical and ancillary services within the units and analyzes and evaluates continuously all nursing services rendered to improve clinical outcomes. This individual will demonstrate leadership by working collaboratively to promote customer service and patient satisfaction. Participates in staff development, educational programs, and orientations.

Manages the provision of adequate and competent staffing as well as maintains flexibility in order to fill staffing gaps if needed. Advocates and allocates resources to promote efficient, effective, safe, quality and compassionate nursing care based on current standards of practice. Integrates clinical, human resource, and financial data to support decision making. Promotes evidence-based practice into clinical, operational, and leadership processes. Ensures compliance with regulatory and professional standards.

What qualifications you will need:

• BSN degree required
• BLS certification is required , ACLS preferred
• Current Registered Nurse licensure with the Indiana State Board of Nursing 
• 3-5 years of relevant clinical hospital RN experience with demonstrated leadership skills and experience preferred
