Responsibilities:
- Ensure implementation of strategies to enhance the patient experience
- Address and resolve patient complaints promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Prepare daily clinic activities in advance
- Review daily lab reports
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls
- Administer various injections
- Conduct nurse visits with basic assessment skills
- Perform clinical tasks as per practice guidelines
- Conduct suture/staple removal and wound care
- Perform EKGs and phlebotomy procedures
- Assist with prescription refills and dialysis coordination
- Ensure efficient office workflows and appointment scheduling
- Update EMR and process tasks accurately
- Handle forms, outside procedure scheduling, and hospital admissions
- Obtain authorizations and follow defined procedures
- Ensure equipment functionality and adherence to instructions
- Fulfill continuing education requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in Med-Surg, ER, or Primary Care
- Strong assessment, triage, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, EMRs, and Outlook
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems
- Current North Carolina LPN/RN License and CPR certification
