The University of Maryland School of nursing Nurse Anesthesia Program is currently recruiting for two part-time (0.5 FTE) faculty members to participate in the clinical and didactic education of Nurse Anesthesia students.
Primary responsibilities include teaching in the simulation laboratory and participation in didactic and clinical instruction of Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Anesthesia students; work collaboratively with clinical preceptors and faculty across multiple settings; develop, teach, organize and evaluate courses and precepted experiences; select, advise and mentor students, participate in scholarly activities.
Qualifications
CRNA certification. Current RN license in the state of Maryland. Master of Science degree in Nursing or a related field is required. Earned doctoral degree in nursing or a related field is preferred. Experience with the delivery of regional, obstetrics and/or cardiac anesthesia is desirable, but not required. Record of effective teaching, precepting and/or significant clinical experience in nursing anesthesia.
