Position:Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Rochester, NY
Pay Rate: $85/hr | $3400/wk
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at our facility in Rochester, NY, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment to produce images of organs and tissues for diagnosis and treatment. Your role will involve working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate image interpretation and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures such as bone scans, cardiac stress tests, and PET scans.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper functioning and calibration.
• Position patients correctly for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to interpret images and provide diagnostic information.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of imaging studies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in Nuclear Medicine technology.
• ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine.
• BLS certification.
• New York State radiology license.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
