The Activities Assistant plans, organizes, and implements activities which stress recreation, diversion, intellectual/educational development for residents as an integral part of their total resident care or lifestyle; manages the day-to-day concerns of residents, coordinating all necessary resources.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
A. Minimal Education:
1. High School graduate or equivalent.
B. Minimal Experience:
1. Valid driver's license, and ability to meet UCHS auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage.
2. Experience working in a skilled nursing or assisted living setting.
C. Other Qualifications:
1. One year experience with recreational programming in a geriatric setting preferred.
