Position Location: live & work in sales territory in dairy/beef cattle regions, travel within Sales Territory

TIMAB produces and distributes a variety of magnesium-based products used for agricultural, industrial and refractory applications. TIMAB USA is currently seeking a Northeastern Sales Manager - Dairy for our Animal Nutrition Division in the Agricultural Unit. This position will focus on DAIRY CATTLE and BEEF CATTLE nutrition sales.
Job Duties:
- Business development and sales
- Develop the sales strategy in collaboration with your manager
- Develop and monitor the client portfolio
- Flexibility to talk to different kinds of actors such as nutritionists, purchasers, farmers, etc.
- Source and pursue contacts, prospects and partners
- Expand the business for our magnesium animal nutrition products in the territory assigned
- Gather data on competitors, local regulations & other factors for full market analysis
- Manage the profit & loss for your area
- Negotiate and draft sales contracts to optimize your results with regards to margin, volume and market share
- Ensure the correct processing of customer orders, logistics and payments in collaboration with Operations staff
- Investigate and assist in resolving customer complaints
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or Dairy Science preferred; degrees in Agriculture Business or related fields also will be considered;
- Knowledge of Ruminant Nutrition is a plus
- Ability & willingness to travel approximately 50-60% of the time
- Previous experience in sales
- Three or more previous years experience in agriculture or dairy cattle production industries is a plus
- Entrepreneurial spirit

- Ability to build relationships with customers
- Negotiation skills
- Some knowledge of supply chain & transportation industry helpful
- Ability to attend a one or two weeklong seminar/training in France annually
