Imaging Healthcare Specialists is looking for Patient Service Representatives for our Encinitas and Oceanside locations!
Job Title:Patient Service Representative
Location: Oceanside and Encinitas
Status: Per Diem with an option to move to full time after 90 days.
Compensation: $18 - $22

At IHS, a Patient Service Representative is exactly as the title describes. They represent patients, answering their questions, directing them when they arrive and ensuring they are prepared for their imaging test or procedure. In short, a Patient Service Representative is responsible for much of the patient’s experience at IHS, and we want that experience to always be exceptional.
As a Patient Representative, you will:
- Engage with patients (check them in, handle payments, make appointment confirmation calls, etc.)
- Interact with referring physician offices (Communicate critical results, clarifying ordering issues, etc.)
- Have an important role in improving patient care
- Work closely with clinical staff to provide an outstanding patient experience
To succeed in this role, we ask that you:

- Have experience working on a computer
- Are organized and detail oriented
- Be a good teammate
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training in customer service.
- Proficient in MS Office and EHR
- Looking for night and weekend availability
