Position Summary:
Kramer School of Nursing is currently accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track position as a Clinical Instructor or Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing, with a starting date in the January of 2024. The rank for this position will be determined based on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must possess an unencumbered Oklahoma RN license or a multi-state compact license.
A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.
A minimum of two (2) years of nursing practice experience is mandatory.
Job Duties:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Develop and deliver courses in alignment with the educational goals of the university, Kramer School of Nursing, and accrediting agencies' requirements.
Assess student learning outcomes, skills, and capabilities, maintaining thorough records of these evaluations.
Engage in limited scholarly activities that align with Kramer School of Nursing's mission.
Actively contribute to the University and Kramer School of Nursing, including participation in relevant committees as needed.
Maintain membership and involvement in professional organizations related to nursing.
Adhere to all policies detailed in the Oklahoma City University Faculty Handbook, KSN Employee Handbook, OCU Student Handbook, and KSN Student Handbook.
Participate in the OCU assessment program to a limited extent and support student recruitment and retention efforts for both KSN and the university.
Other duties as assigned.
