This is a remote/ rotational position, working two weeks on and two weeks of or a three weeks on and three weeks off rotation, in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided.
Job Purpose:
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of typical light duty non-mobile or Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
Essential Job Functions:
- Performs routine maintenance and repair of typical light oilfield and construction equipment, including but not limited to large volume pumps, light plants, diesel fired heaters, portable generator sets, portable air compressors, and other auxiliary equipment on a journeyman level with minimum guidance from supervisor.
- Operates and inspects equipment to diagnose defects, dismantles, repairs, and reassembles as required.
- Work on fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and drive-train systems using tools and test equipment common to the trade in a shop or in the field as required.
- Routinely operate Worley/client light and/or medium duty vehicles.
- Safely climb ladders.
Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance for power generation and/or all types of non-mobile equipment common to heavy construction and oilfield service industries.
- Knowledge of and experience in lubrication procedures for all types of non-mobile equipment common to heavy construction and oilfield service industries.
- Ability to maintain equipment maintenance records.
- Ability to give and receive oral safety warnings, instructions, and task assignments.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand schematic, blueprint/drawings, job descriptions, maintenance/safety/technical manuals, and safety/warning signs.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience or formal training at an accredited technical college as a non-mobile or GSE mechanic in the construction, military, aircraft support or oilfield industries.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid driver’s license including ability to be insured by Worley auto insurer.
- North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC). Worley can provide NSTC certification training if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Petrochemical, oilfield, or arctic experience.
