Job Description:
Compact Health Services Inc. is seeking a reliable individual to join our team as a Non-Emergency Transportation Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, rehabilitation centers, and other non-emergency medical destinations.
Qualifications
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. No Suspensions or Major traffic violations within the last 5 years.
· Previous experience in transportation, healthcare, or customer service preferred but not necessary. Training will be provided by the company.
· Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roads and highways.
· Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with clients courteously and professionally.
· Must be reliable and capable of working independently and remaining calm in case of emergency.
· Satisfactory completion of CPR training provided by a local emergency medical training facility or a certificate indicating prior successful completion of such training.
Responsibilities:
· Safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, rehabilitation centers, and other non-emergency medical destinations.
· Assist clients in boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed.
· Ensure the safety and comfort of clients during transportation.
· Follow all traffic laws and company policies and procedures.
· Checks all equipment for future readiness, maintains van in operable condition and ensures van cleanliness and orderliness.
· Communicate effectively with clients and dispatchers to ensure efficient transportation services.
· Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
