Job description
Central Jersey Spine & Wellness is an integrated multidisciplinary outpatient practice seeking a dynamic and motivated Physical Therapist with ortho experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent energy, interpersonal skills, and strong orthopedic skills to provide exceptional patient care.
Schedule
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 9am-7pm
- No patient hours on Tuesdays or weekends
Qualifications
- Current NJ state physical therapy license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in orthopedic physical therapy
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient evaluations to determine treatment plans
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Manage and direct physical therapy aide to assist in patient care
- Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to help patients achieve their goals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress
- Participate in continuing education and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in rehabilitation
- Work collaboratively with experienced staff to provide mentorship and support to junior staff
- Communicate with team members regarding patient presentation, status and appropriate findings
