We are looking for an experienced Overnight Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hotel and its guests during the night, while providing exceptional levels of service to all customers during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for running night audit procedures and nightly reports with the Night Auditor. Position reports to Front Office Manager
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Overall responsibility for the property operation during nights including all legal requirements, ensuring all night procedures are adhered to and implemented as and when required.
- Responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient Front Office Operations, supporting and training Team Members in handling guest requests and inquiries.
- Demonstration of positive leadership characteristics to inspire Team Members to meet and exceed standards.
- Ensure everything is in order for a smooth handover to day team.
- Support security within property to ensure our guests are safe and sound.
- Be responsible for all cash handling whilst you are on duty.
- Correctly administer the End of Day procedures every shift with 100% accuracy and consistency.
- Reports guest concerns to appropriate department head and General Manager.
- Investigates guest charges to resolve complaints.
- Ensures all billing and paperwork is done in accordance with Accounting standards.
- Effectively communicates with other departments.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.

- Strong leadership skills with ability to coach, mentor, train and develop team members

- Ability to work any day of the week.
- 1-2 years experience as Night Manager in a full-service hotel is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High School diploma or Hospitality degree certificate required.
