SalaryWe are looking for exceptional Registered Nurses to join our team at Franklin County Jail in Columbus, OH for both short and long-term contracts.
- 12 hour shifts working 36 hours per week
- 12 week contracts with the option to extend
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting
- Assess physical, psychological and social dimensions of patients; obtain health history and provide a written assessment of patients upon admission
- During confinement, and upon discharge; document and communicate triage decision to appropriate health care provider
- Develop individual nursing care plan using nursing assessment protocols in consultation with health care providers
- According to physician orders implement medical care plans to include diagnostic tests, EKGs, etc.
- Administer medications using proper techniques, procedures and approved routes of administration; nutrition and therapeutic diet plans
- Assist physician in medical or minor surgical procedures as necessary
Qualifications
- Current state license as a RN
- Current CPR certificate
- Proficient with electronic medical records
- Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week

Experience:
- RN: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- RN License in OH (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
