Works on site at the corrections facility to provide limited nursing care and health and wellness promotion for residents. Nursing service includes: Admission health screen, sick call, development and maintenance of a medication delivery system, assessment and referral of medical complaints, venipuncture and health and wellness promotion and education.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Registered nurse in the State of Ohio.
Training and Experience
Minimum four years experience with assessment skills and knowledge to manage the patient population, assessment of needs on admission (to include psych evaluation) and at sick call.
BLS provider or obtain within 3 months of hire.
