We are seeking a Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nightly accounting of the hotel, as well as, providing exceptional guest service to guests arriving or departing during the night shift. The right candidate will be innovative, have great attention to detail, and be a team player.
Position Summary:
Complete night audit procedures while providing professional and courteous customer service to hotel guests by preforming the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests in an efficient and friendly manner.
- Obtain guest identification and credit approval as directed by hotel policy.
- Answer telephones promptly and courteously. Route calls appropriately; make and confirm reservations.
- Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services, local information, and travel information.
- Ensure special guest requests are noted, communicated, and fulfilled.
- Manage and resolve all guest complaints and problems in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
- Computes bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests.
- Adhere to policies regarding handling of employee’s cash bank.
- Ensure the current day’s revenue balances are reconciled, the payments from the guests are processed.
- Prepare daily management reports as required.
- Balance and verify the summary of daily transactions in the hotel and ensure that the hotel’s computer system is ready for the next day’s business.
- Communicate with the next shift to pass on necessary information.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- Keep work area neat and organized.
- Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
- Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
- Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the Employee Handbook.
