Night Auditor

Trellis Durham is currently looking for a hotel Night Auditor! This will be a full-time night position, from 6PM to 1:30AM five nights per week with a half an hour break. Experienced Night Auditors are encouraged to apply. We would be happy to train anyone interested in a new career in hospitality!

Major Functions: Responsible for the front desk operation and security walks of the property. Serves as Manager on Duty between overnight hours, keeping the Assistant General Manager and General Manager informed of any guest concerns or situations that need immediate attention.

Essential Functions:

• Greets and registers guests and provides room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Handles guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner.
• Resolves guest challenges and takes appropriate action to ensure 100% guest satisfaction. Communicates with next shift associates by logging pertinent information in the appropriate logbook.
• Processes customer payments according to established procedures and policies, including authorization of all credit cards, and follows proper cash handling procedures.
• Serves as the hotel security while on duty, including actively walking the property and driving the parking lot hourly throughout the shift. Documents any incidents and includes in end of shift report.
• Performs all other duties deemed necessary by management.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 /hour
