POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Diversity Program Manager, you will play an integral role of developing and implementing plans and programs that promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging across the NFI Group. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Manage and drive the development and execution of NFI DEIB Programs, strategic framework and annual workplan across the NFI Group of Companies.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor commitments within NFI Group Community Benefits Framework (CBF), including related initiatives, implementation, and reporting.
  • Lead day-to-day project, program management, and administrative support for all DEIB initiatives and provide regular status updates, report, and forecast on various metrics and targets to key stakeholders.
  • Report and analyze diversity statistics across NFI to meet organizational diversity goals, customer bids, commitments, and compliance.
  • Collaborate and develop action-based targets and plans with HR leadership and cross functional teams to ensure diversified talent pipelines, adherence to affirmative actions, equal opportunity, human rights, and related information requests about NFI's DEIB programs.
  • Participates in benchmark surveys and forums and use market research to promote best practices and identify opportunities to grow our competitive advantage.
  • Conduct inclusivity reviews on new and existing company policies, programs, and initiatives.
  • Establish communication plans and cultural initiatives to drive inclusion.
  • Work in partnership with the NFI Learning Institute to identify, develop and assist with effective DEIB training opportunities for all employees.
  • Implement and function as advisor to Employee Resource Committees as established.
  • Keeps fully informed on changes to applicable laws and regulations and periodically revises programs and efforts to continue a high level of organizational standards.
* Travel up to 15%.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Equity/Diversity, Social Services, Community Relations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement and localize effective diversity and inclusion strategies.
  • Strong understanding of diversity and inclusion trends, best practices, and metrics.
  • Result driven, and strong change management skills with ability to influence change across the organization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to guide, influence, motivate and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid Project and Program management skills and experience.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
