What you'll do

As a key member of the Product & Technology (P&T) Finance team, you will support DocuSign's New Product Launches. You will have full ownership and responsibility to build high quality financial models to support New Product and feature launches. These financial models are a core input to the go/no-go decision making step for every product's launch process. As a trusted partner, you will work directly with Product Managers, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and our Pricing & Packaging teams to source key inputs to the model. Finally, this role will be responsible for presenting and defending financial projection outputs to members of DocuSign's leadership team.

 

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director of Product & Technology FP&A.

 

Responsibility

  • Serve as owner of New Product and new launch financial projection modeling covering revenue, costs, margins, cash flow and NPV analysis
  • Present and defend models in front of members of DocuSign's leadership team
  • Build forward-looking P&Ls for our existing product portfolio
  • Own what-if scenario analysis, build vs. buy and other M&A modeling analyses to support product strategy
Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • BA or BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting
  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling
  • Experience working with large datasets and data manipulation
  • Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel

 

Preferred

  • MBA
  • Experience building forward projections for yet-to-be launched products
  • Prior SaaS product modeling experience
  • Prior investment banking analyst or associate experience or corporate development experience
  • Ability to work independently, think objectively, and provide meaningful and insightful narratives from both quantitative as well as qualitative data
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret data and develop strategic recommendations
  • Ability to influence leadership through clear presentation and communication of complex data analysis
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial concepts
Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

California: $165,800 - $265,625 base salary

 

Illinois and Colorado: $157,900 - $223,075 base salary

 

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $157,900 - $234,275 base salary

 

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
