Job Summary
To serve the Church by providing coordination of the daily operations within the (department) and (general task)
Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform diversified tasks and accurately represent Family Ministries in all interactions.
• Provide administrative support for Executive Pastor of Kids Ministry and Sr Exec Pastor of Family Ministries including support projects, correspondence, telephone callbacks, scheduling appointments, expense reports and general office support.
• Solve daily work problems and apply considerable initiative and independent judgment with the majority of your responsibilities.
• Interface with other departments within the ministry and/or outside contacts to exchange information, answer inquiries, consult on problems and secure cooperation or approval on action to be taken.
• Assist with the process of combining text copy and graphic design elements into a finished printed product.
• Assist in preparing for upcoming events and other functions.
• Assist in responding to phone calls and emails with information, resources and guidance as needed.
• Complete projects as directed by Executive Pastor
• Help code invoices and complete check requests for the department
• Assist Family Ministry department by placing orders online or over the phone when needed.
• Provide support for Family Sundays (2-4 per year), Christmas Eve, Good Friday, and Easter services.

Education and Experience
Education: High School diploma or higher
Experience: 2 years experience

Family Ministry Classroom Teachers and Support Staff
Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit and occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally life and or move up to 25 pounds.
• Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Close visual acuity to is necessary to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
