Generator Sales Representative
Genset Services is the Generac Industrial Distributor for South Florida. We are searching for a career-oriented individual with top-notch outside sales skills with a focus on customer service. Looking for a sales person who is motivated - a top producer who will make in excess of $100,000 in this role.
Job Responsibilities
Actively pursue new and existing relationships with electrical/general contractors, municipalities, and end users.
Work with Sales Management to develop and meet a territory sales plan and budget.
Qualify prospects, identify opportunities, assess project needs and rapidly quote solutions within our product offerings.
Read and accurately interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
Follow up, follow up and follow up.
Continuously develop product, industry and technical knowledge to better assist design engineers and clients with unit selection.
Submit required sales forms to project management to facilitate the after sale process.
Utilize our lead management, system configurator and CRM software to quote and follow up
Presentation of sales and educational materials to perspective clients and engineers.
Job Requirements/Skills
Assist with other duties as required
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum 3 years of sales experience. Positive attitude and proven success in sales is required.
Must be comfortable negotiating complex and high value sales.
Willingness to learn more technical power generation related concepts and to apply that knowledge toward customer solutions.
Preference will be given to applicants who have experience working with power generation equipment or generator system servicing is a plus (i.e. – industrial, commercial or residential generators, transfer switches, load banks and testing, transformers, diesel fuel tanks, voltage changes, fuel polishing, etc.).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to utilize lead management software plus maintain and update all required databases regarding sales activates and customer contacts.

COMPENSATION: Base + Commission
