Network Technician Ii - Wi & Il Residents Only.

Spherion is seeking a Network Technician II to join our client's team! As a Level 2 Network Technician, you will address more complicated issues. You will collaborate with a Level 1 technician and/or a Level 3, MSP Manager, and Professional Services manager to ensure service tickets are managed and resolved effectively.

A Level 2 Technician is expected to have two or more Industry Standard Certifications (A+, Net+, etc.) and a next-level certification such as CCNA or Microsoft Associate level.

• Pay rate: $32-36/hour depending on qualifications
• Benefits: Health insurance, dental insurance, 401K
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm 
• Onsite in Beloit, WI

Responsibilities include serving as the point of escalation for:

• Router issues
• F/W ACL and NAT policies
• VPN server issues
• Wifi/AP connection/configuration issues
• NPS configuration
• Switch / VLAN configuration issues
• Engage 3rd party support for escalated tickets
• Cloud management ports for networking equipment
• Vendor POC for equipment updates security fixes disaster plans (most common network vendors include Cisco, SonicWALL, Fortinet, and Ubiquiti)

Qualifications:

• Ability to solve or complete issues that are unique but where similar solutions have a clearly documented solution
• Excellent foundational knowledge; mainstream certificates (A+, Net+, etc.)
• Approximately 2 years of experience including working knowledge of ticketing systems
• Comfortable scheduling meetings with clients to break down technical issues in easy-to-understand terms
• Proven ability to work well with others
