The Network Technician is under the direction of the Information Technology Director, the Network Technician responsibilities will help support the DRH Health Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and server and desktop connectivity, while working closely with the Network Administrator and Network Analyst. Additional duties could include installation and support of new and existing servers and applications, as well as support of ancillary network equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Add, remove and modify Active Directory users
- Maintain antivirus deployments and troubleshooting
- Responsible for client side network connectivity
- Oversee mobile device management
- Follow and enforce all cybersecurity policies and procedures
- Regular attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts
- Must adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Apply DRH Standards of Behavior and exhibit behaviors consistent with DRH core values
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
Education and/or Experience: Associate degree in a related field. Sufficient work-related experience may be considered in lieu of degree. A minimum of 1 year experience with Windows Server 2012 and newer operating systems , including, but not limited to, new server build and replacement, knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, client/server application installation/troubleshooting and corporate-level antivirus software preferred. VMware knowledge, network troubleshooting, routing and VLAN understanding are also preferred. Applicants should have a working knowledge of security best practices with files/folders and physical exposure. Excellent written and verbal communication required.
