CelLink manufactures the world’s largest and most electrically and thermally conductive flexible circuits, essential for the automotive and energy storage industries. The company is a key supplier to major electric vehicle manufacturers providing intelligent wiring systems needed for automotive wiring and battery packs with a key focus on efficiency and safety.
Recent desktop administrative experience with Windows AD, Duo Mobile, or Microsoft Auth.
Proficient in installing and troubleshooting CAD software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
Ability to provide hardware support for late-model Lenovo PCs and laptops.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess an in-depth understanding of VLAN configuration, network protocols like TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and core network security principles. Proficiency in handling Cisco or similar networking equipment is essential. Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools is highly valued.
Moreover, the candidate should demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, both independently and in a team environment. Strong communication and documentation abilities are crucial for effectively conveying technical information and maintaining comprehensive records.
User Support and Guidance:
Provide technology guidance for office team meetings and special events.
Ability to draft and publish user-friendly self-service instructions.
Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information.
Assist in evaluating and implementing desk-side applications.
Create step-by-step self-service instructions for users.
Attend daily stand-up meetings and weekly 1:1 sessions with IT leadership.
Proficiency with both Windows and OSX.
Troubleshoot VPN connectivity issues for remote staff.
Manage the IT asset lifecycle and enhance the global ITAM process.
Meticulously document details in ticketing systems like Power Automate, ServiceNow, or ZenDesk.
As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure in a dynamic EV manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to maintain network connectivity, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance within a multi-VLAN environment.
3-4 years of relevant helpdesk experience
2 years of basic network experience
100% onsite in San Carlos, M-F 7:00am - 4:00pm PT
Need to have a bit more network knowledge
Toning cables - last service provider did not accurately document where some of the connections are going. Working with tools to get to the root cause of where things are connected.
Making patches
Super detail oriented and proactive in asking questions
50/50 desktop and network support
Moving most of the laptop support to Austin
Working multiple projects, projects are slipping because they do not have the confidence to push back
Wrapping up a POV with Crowdstrike
Will need this person to work with the users to make sure it is installed appropriately with the update
Shopping around for an additional internet circuit, currently have 2 with the same vendor
Someone who has helped with a circuit stand up before
Could help take meetings, coordinate with the vendor
More project minded person is ideal
Patching Cat5 & Cat6 Connections

Educational Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field.
Soft skills:
Cares more about the technical/project focus for this person
Documentation is important
Manufacturing or healthcare environment is very helpful as this person is working with the manufacturing engineers as it is the R&D site
Nice to have:
Experience with automation technology
Experience with Bash and Python
