Network Infrastructure Engineer

To be successful in this role you'll need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

•        Plan, Design, and Engineer large scale enterprise wireless data networks utilizing distributed and cloud-based architectures and service partner infrastructure. 
•        Plan, Design, and Engineer large scale wireless network solutions which employ service management features and policies for multiple businesses. 
•        Wireless Network Infrastructure design, engineering, and implementation from component level to enterprise deployment at scale. 
•        Define, design and guide the implementation of multiple methods of securing and monitoring wireless/mobile networks, wireless client device connectivity, and wireless application performance. 
•        Conceive, design, and implement programmatic and automated communication services on networks, network management systems (aka telemetry and NMS), and infrastructure management systems.  
•        Define, design and guide the implementation of APIs as part of an automated feature or communications service between networks and systems management tiers. 
•        Define, design and guide the implementation of automated systems providing performance management data unique to wireless network components, client devices, and mobile app interfaces. 
•        Define, design, and guide the implementation of APIs and data exchange features with infrastructure management and service management systems (i.e. service databases, operations tools, etc.).
•        Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Shell, Awk, SQL, PHP or Python, Perl with a strong base in object-oriented design and development, in support of collaborating with engineering and development peers, and guiding the delivery of solutions for network and infrastructure management and automation techniques. 
•        Proven knowledge in the integration of Network Infrastructure elements including: Wireless Controllers, Wireless Access Points, Wireless/Mobile Device Configurations, Routers, Ethernet switches, Firewalls, Internet appliances, Wireless Network Planning tools, Network Management tools, Mobile Business Applications, Network Data Analysis, API methods and tools, Security Operations Control services, Proxy and Policy Management services, Internet Application Performance services, Systems Management and Monitoring Automation methods. 
•        A detailed understanding of infrastructure communications technologies including: TCP/IP routing protocols, MPLS, NAT, BGP4, IGP, DNS, firewall policies, geo-load balancing, proxy and cache Servers, VPN technologies, layer 4-7 switching, Security, QoS, IP Telephony, Wi-Fi, Cellular, Network Management and Monitoring Software.
•        Advanced knowledge of available network operating systems, wired and wireless network equipment and networking protocols is essential.
•        Proven ability to research, develop, implement and streamline processes/procedures for executing data network projects on a global scale consisting of over 10,000+ devices.
•        Provide guidance to Banking peers and vendors regarding the successful implementation of the above. 
•        Comprehensive professional experience working in large scale enterprise or carrier network environments.
•        Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related discipline, or equivalent training and experience.
•        Minimum of 5 years experience in the design, operation, and management of regional, national and global LAN/WAN networks and security services.
