About the Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Level 2 Network Engineer who will be responsible for network service provisioning with a diverse array of networking technologies such as Cisco switches and routers, Juniper routers, Meraki switches/APs/firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls and others.

Functions and Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and troubleshoot various customer circuits, encompassing fiber, copper, colocation services, SD-WAN, IPsec VPN, firewall, and remote access VPN.
• Handle escalation and troubleshooting tickets, addressing various network issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with project managers to facilitate the seamless onboarding of new customers.
• Coordinate with phone, MSP, and colocation engineers to resolve network-related issues effectively.
• Provide assistance and support to L3 engineers in maintaining backbone infrastructure and implementing new services.
• Thoroughly document network designs, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements and skills

• Minimum of three years experience in hands-on network service provisioning
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, Spanning Tree, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP, Syslog and others.
• Network certification, CCNA required, CCNP is a plus.
• Experience with network products, including Cisco routers and switches, Meraki switches/APs/firewalls, Palo Alto/Fortinet firewall, MikroTik routers, Juniper routers, and Adtran
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
