Network Engineer

Location/Visa Requirements:

• Hybrid – 3 days – remote 2 days

• On-site: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

• 3 days a week on-site – open to candidates availability

Role Requirements:

• Network engineer who can help them to maintain their on-premise infrastructure (cisco

ASA, cisco Firepower, Cisco switches, BGP and other routing protocols etc.) and also can

help us to maintain our cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure) specifically on the

networking side. Please see the below some of the details of the job description.

• Responsibilities

o Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure components

including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other

networking devices.

o Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving

issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and optimize

performance.

o Assess the cloud provider requirements and participate in migrating the

On-Premises workloads to cloud providers.

o Implement and enforce network security measures to safeguard against

unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.

o Participate in capacity planning and scalability assessments to

accommodate the company's growing business needs.

o Assist in the creation and maintenance of network documentation,

diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

o Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging

technologies related to networking and security.

o Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for networkrelated incidents and outages.

• Qualifications

o Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a

related field. Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) are a plus.

o 7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, preferably

in a fast-paced and technology-driven environment.

o Advanced knowledge of switches, routers and firewall configuration,

setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

o Strong understanding of network concepts including TCP/IP, IPSEC, GRE,

VPNs, EIGRP, QoS, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, BGP, IDS/IPS, site to site tunnels

and VLANs.

o Good experience in working with Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower and Cisco

Switches.

o In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure,

including networking services and features (AWS VPC and Azure Virtual

Network).

o Experience in migrating on-premises data center workload to cloud

environments such as Azure and/or AWS.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose

and resolve complex network issues.

o Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal

teams.

o Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented

environment.

o Adaptability to evolving technologies and a continuous learning

mindset.
