Position Overview:
As a Junior Network Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals, contributing to various Managed Services and Professional Services procedures under the guidance of Senior Engineers. Logistics:
Location: St. Petersburg, Florida
Onsite Requirement: Daily presence at our Headquarters office
Schedule: Expect night, holiday, and/or weekend hours, with occasional travel required
Employment Type: Full-time contractor (Hourly 1099 basis)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve technical support incidents across a range of software applications and IT infrastructure components.
Collaborate with cutting-edge technologies and diverse clientele to ensure seamless operations and transformative user experiences.
Continuously train on new and upcoming products, particularly Datto/Kaseya offerings.
Provide valuable feedback to product development teams based on customer interactions.
Work closely with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) Team and Project Management to support consulting services.
Assist in the implementation, operation, monitoring, and evaluation of new IT infrastructure platforms.
Conduct onsite tasks such as wireless site surveys, hardware installations, and troubleshooting.
Generate comprehensive reports and documentation for all assigned tasks.
Participate in ongoing project work across multi-vendor platforms.
Experience Preferred:
Experience within the Datto/Kaseya/AutoTask/RMM platform solutions.
Helpdesk and Endpoint hardware/software maintenance experience.
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Vendor/Technology Experience:
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following:
Datto/Kaseya, HPE Aruba, Microsoft Azure, Palo Alto, AWS, Juniper + Mist, Meraki, Microsoft (Windows Server, CA), Fortinet, Cisco, and VMware.
Desired Wireless/RF Experience:
Ekahau, HPE Aruba, Meraki, Cisco, Ruckus, Mojo (Arista), Mist (Juniper), Cambium Networks, Air Magnet, and Extreme Networks.
Additional Duties:
Assist with large-scale Enterprise IT Infrastructure Projects.
Manage project documentation and internal documentation.
Perform MSP resource utilization analysis.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
