Form of workNova 401(k) Associates is hiring a Network Engineer in our Houston, TX office. The Network Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure. The responsibilities for the person in this position include configuring and managing SonicWall firewalls, VPNs, and VoIP systems. The Network Engineer must ensure the stability and security of our network environment. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support network solutions that meet our clients' requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, and maintain SonicWall firewalls and VPNs
- Administer and troubleshoot VoIP systems
- Design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure
- Perform network monitoring, analysis, and capacity planning
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve network-related issues promptly
- Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and colleagues
- Document network configurations, changes, and processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- At least 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer
- Proficiency in configuring and managing SonicWall firewalls and VPNs
- Experience with VoIP systems administration and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary $80,000 - $100,000
- Salaried, non-exempt

- Work a hybrid schedule
