Utilizing strong enterprise networking experience; design, implement, maintain, and support a secure, scalable, and highly available network infrastructure to support the technology requirements of an industry leading government contractor. Help develop and maintain cybersecurity standards and baselines to ensure industry regulations are adhered to. Work with Security and IT Teams to support programs;
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install and configure internal and internet facing network devices.
- Proactively manage and maintain network devices, systems, and services to maximize network performance.
- Optimize internal network design to promote a strong network security posture.
- Monitor system resource utilization for trending reports and capacity planning.
- Deliver level 2/3 support to resolve complex system and network issues.
- Provide after-hours support for infrastructure emergencies as well as off-hour maintenance.
- Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
- Define and document best practices and network support procedures.
- Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
- Assist in the development and on-going maintenance of the company System Security Plan (SSP) and Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs)
- Construct relevant technology policies to ensure CUI and CMMC compliance.
