SalaryProspective employee should have good communication skills as well as a strong understanding of all Microsoft platforms including the setup and maintenance of the following:
Minimum of three years of previous administrator experience or equivalent, including proficiency in problem determination and performance measurement and strong working knowledge of operating systems, subsystems and computer networks.
Experience in configuring, implementing, administering, and troubleshooting distributed Windows servers and workstations.
Design, implementation, and support of server and network components for both virtual and physical environments
Installing Windows operating systems and other application building block components as required
Creating and administering System Images using Windows Deployment Services
Administration of the IT systems and end user support
Shared responsibility for help desk support, including after-hours support
Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and monitor system events
Maintenance and support of client facing systems and software
Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required
Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up
Advanced familiarity with all aspects of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
Knowledge of backup systems such as Backup Exec, AppAssure, and Veeam
Advanced familiarity with VMware
Familiarity with Anti-virus solutions such as McAfee Enterprise ePolicy Orchestrator
Familiarity with iSCSI SAN solutions such as EqualLogic and EMC
Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
Good work ethic, planning, organizational, and problem solving skills
Good analytical and conceptual skills; strong sense of responsibility and initiative
Strong desire to learn and improve
Work independently and as part of a team
Communicate well with all levels of management and company personnel
Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience preferred
