Network Admin

This role is ideal for an entry or journeyman level Network Administrator who will provide technical support and assistance in the operation and maintenance of information systems.

The responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the compilation of records and reports related to network operations and maintenance.
• Collaborating with the team to troubleshoot and address basic network performance issues.
• Providing support in monitoring technical control facility hardware and software problems, escalating issues as needed.
• Assisting in the procurement, testing, installation, and support of LAN/MAN/WAN systems.
• Participating in system-level design and configuration activities.
• Contributing to smaller-scale systems projects and vendor evaluations.
• Supporting various systems engineering tasks related to design, integration, and implementation.
• Assisting in quality assurance reviews and evaluations of software products.
• Supporting information systems operations activities, including data entry, data control, and basic LAN/MAN/WAN administration.
• Participating in discussions on standards and budget considerations.
• Assisting in the supervision of personnel engaged in network facility operations and support.
• Monitoring and addressing basic hardware, software, and network problems.
• Participating in routine testing and analysis of network facilities.
• Utilizing software and hardware tools for basic problem identification and troubleshooting.
• Assisting in the implementation of improvements to enhance network efficiency.

Requirements:

• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
• Security+ certification (Sec+).
• Strong experience in Linux systems
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to
