Position: .Net Tech Lead
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: Full time / Permanent

• Involved in L2, L3 support functions for Web Application support
• Experience in understanding and working on the skills mentioned
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in offshore-onsite mode of working for Microsoft applications
• Strong understanding and real time experience with Design
• Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve bugs and issues with little or no direction

Roles & Responsibilities:
Requirements Phase:

• During this phase, the interaction during the requirements gathering phase is minimal.
• Helps Enterprise Architect and Solution Architect with answers to their questions
• Involvement in running Proof of Concepts and Proof of Technology and decision making based on the results.
• Helps Business analyst with any idea / solution and technical requirements that may better the CMP system.

Design Phase:

• Provide support and understanding at the code level (only if required) to Solution Architect for the Solution Building Block (SBB)
• Owner for Proof of Technology carried out for arriving at SBB in some cases where POT is required.
• Interacts with BA if there are any ambiguities in requirements during the design phase.
• Owner for Low Level Design and documentation will direct the offshore for the creation of some of the components and reviews the same with them.
• Provide heads up to other support groups if any requirements that needs to be handled.
• Arrange meeting for the Low Level Design walkthrough with the solution reviewers.
• Provides information as and when required on the existing load that is handled by the production system.
• Updates to PM on the day-to-day activities, any risks / issues identified during the design phase
• Attend the weekly status meeting scheduled by the PM (if any)
• Help in identifying requirements which are not part of Initial requirements.

Development Phase:

• Coordinates with support groups (Data Architect, Product Maintenance Team, SOA, Front end team) and answers questions posted by the support groups.
• Updates to PM on the day-to-day activities, any risks / issues identified during the development phase
• Interacts with BA if there are any ambiguities in requirements during the development phase.
• Set up code review session with the code reviewer group
• Helps the support groups to set up product data for the product maintenance team as well as questions posted with respect to the project.
• Attend the weekly status meeting scheduled by the PM (if any)
• Attend the QA planning meeting if any scheduled for the project and provide inputs to the QA team
• Coordinate integration testing within CMP starting from Load Line Item application (entry point for the CMP)
• Identifies and report risks dependency to the project and schedule.
• Develop the code for few applications as a part of the project.

Testing Phase:

• Attend defect review meeting with QA / UAT on daily basis
• Helps the support groups to set up product data for the product maintenance team as well as questions posted with respect to the project in the QA/UAT environment
• Identifies the right group to resolve the defect if not related to due code.
• Identifies whether it is a defect or a requirement when the defect is assign to the lead.
• On point contact for the queries posted by the Testing teams.
• Identifies and report risks dependency to the project and schedule.

Implementation Phase:

• Creates change tickets for the install
• Help implementation coordinator for the install of the project with respect to the site verification.
• Attend Implementation planning meetings created by the implementation coordinator
• Notification on the change tickets to the implementation coordinator
• Verifies the code install done by the other support groups
• Implements the data and configuration changes after the code install.
• Attend site verification call and help the plants in validating the outputs.
