SUMMARY:
The .NET Engineer builds in-house availability tests using C# to interact with Azure services, enhancing automated monitoring coverage for Kestra websites. Responsibilities include designing tests for accurate outcomes, participating in code reviews, and researching Azure connectivity. Proficiency in C#, Visual Studio, and Azure services is crucial.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Enhanced Failure Reporting: Design availability tests for enhanced failure reporting and quicker issue resolution.
- Automated Test Maintenance: Monitor and adjust automated tests post-deployment for version compatibility.
- False Positive Mitigation: Prioritize false positive resolution for accurate test outcomes in all environments.
- Release Management: Participate in daily release planning for frequent monitoring updates.
- Auto-healing: Implement auto-healing solutions within availability tests.
- Monitoring Coverage: Collaborate to identify and address system weaknesses and enhance performance.

- Understanding of Azure Data Factory, microservices, and REST APIs
- Capable of identifying and resolving data quality issues
- Knowledgeable in infrastructure setup for data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Proficient in building analytical tools for business insights.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in MIS, CS, or information technology
- 2+ years experience in C#, .NET, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
