Nde Inspector

NDE Inspector – Arden – 1st Shift – Up to $22.00/Hr.
PrideStaff is recruiting for an NDE Inspector for 1st Shift for a testing provider located in Arden.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist NDE Technicians in performing specific calibrations, specific Nondestructive Tests, and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations
• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist NDE Technicians in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist NDE Technicians conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDE methods of inspection
• Fill out required forms and paperwork to ensure quality communication throughout the company
• Assist Technicians in performing NDT procedures and other operations
• Studies to gain NDT certifications while assisting and learning hands on experience in various methods
• Performs any duties assigned by the Technician or other supervisor on the worksite
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of company equipment and other inventory

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of NDT Techniques a plus but not a requirement
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and ability to accurately document test results

Hours of Work:  8:00 am to 5:00 pm
